I have to confess that it is not easy to run this challenge.
It is not a negative murmur I hope, yet I have to say it is really hard for a “work
in public zone” mom like I do. Saturday was the very last day of doing the
challenge, in the same time I have to take my children to the midwife for
having a shot. Both of them take DPT vaccine. It means that today and tomorrow
most probably I will be focusing on both
of them, since they will have an after shot fever. No big delas, yet very
energy consuming, hehe.
Okay, there is no room for complaining, I have to go on and
make the moment valuable for learning. My Naren very fond of all related about
automotive especially train and cars. During the journey to the midwife clinic
we were passing the railways. He was instantly realized it, and trying to ask,
or maybe confirming: “Itu apa tuh?” and then I was asking him back “Apa ya Kak?”
and he passionately answered “Rel Keretaaaaaaaa” and then on and on chit chat
about the train, while we were chatting, a train passes us by, the railways
were side by side with the roads, “waaaaa kereteaaa tuuh” and then ongoing
discussion about the train.
What I learnt so much from this moment. It is the power of
question!. Instead of answered what he always ask, I usually ask him back,
because very often he only confirming, he knows the answer already yet not very
sure to be outspoken. By this stimulation we trained him to have a self
confidence to declare his minds. It is not a matter of true or false, it is
about having a bravery to say what he is already know or what he feels upon
something.
